Los Lobos

This is a band I have known about since I was a child. My parents are fans of them also, and I recently re-discovered them, and I've been listening to their Best Of collection called "Wolf Tracks" non stop recently. They're best known for their soundtrack to the 1987 film "La Bamba", about the late Ritchie Valens, but while they haven't really had another huge hit other than that, their fan base has been greatly maintained throughout their existence and is still very strong. Their latest release is "Kiko Live", an entire live performance of their critically acclaimed 1992 album "Kiko".

I am familar with their song "La Bamba" and enjoy it very much. It has a great beat or tempo to it. Haven't heard the other newer stuff yet so looking forward to it sometime in the future hopefully.
