Entry 5: 20xx.09.01
So, the last day of summer has gone by. I'm currently eating breakfast getting ready for the first day of school. Well, alright, my first day of school. I ended up getting a hangover because of David's surprise. As I feared I would dislike it, he called it "The ultimate initiation of anyone who is someone in Oriam!" Leave it to David to pull out all the theatrics. All I know is for the amount of alcohol he made me drink, I don't think I'll ever drink again. That is officially the first, and last time I'll ever drink.

I probably wouldn't have even drank in the first place, but she was there. The girl who I will work with. Though looking back I shouldn't have to try and prove myself to be more than what I am. Well, at least David is good for something, he introduced me to her. The girl's name Cadence. It's an interesting name to say the least, though it's very fitting.

We ended up talking and getting along fairly well. Turns out we got a few things in common. We both listen to ska, and alternative music. We both like the outdoors, and she's also not from Oriam like myself. And of course, enter David with more drinks, and inviting Cadence and her friends to a camping trip this weekend. I'm looking forward to it.

Anyways, It's off to school, then work. It's going to be a long day.

-----

It's been a really long day. Despite a few minor mishaps my day went better than I thought. Aside from going to the wrong classroom at first, sitting in someone elses chair, getting lost twice in the school, and falling up the stairs, everything went rather smoothly. Then again that could be just because both Cadence and I finally worked together today, and walked to work together.

We ended up getting to know each other more, and even helped each other out with our homework. While she handled cash, I cleaned and organized the store. It wasn't half bad.

Today was a great day, I hope I'll continue to have more days like these.
