A big asteroid will fly close by planet Earth on Feb. 15 although they say it poses no threat to the planet. I only hope they are correct about that!!

I think I'll check out that news conference on Thursday, Feb. 7th related to this event!! :yaknow:

And then one day during the time period I think I'll get out that Bruce Willis movie "Armageddeon" and watch it again! :yes:

Wow, that one is coming awfully close. Sounds like it won't be visible on my side of the planet. Pity, it might make for an interesting sight.

I was also tginking like THOUL : would have been a great show ! But if this asteroid is going to coming awfully close..maybe too close would have been far more dangerous ?? :sweat:

Well, it looks like the predictions were right and the asteroid did miss Earth....whew!!!!

These things are getting a little too close for comfort though.

Guess what?? Yep, another big asteroid is coming close to Earth. This asteroid has it's own moon. Yikes!! They say it will miss Earth though, thank goodness. Still, a lot of this happening lately though.

UPDATE: 6/3/2013 - Yay, this asteroid missed Earth completely!!! Now we can breathe easy, until the next one that its. :wink:
