Phantasy Star: Fringes of Algo

When entering the underground passage leading to the mansion home of the Governor of Paseo, Alis and her companions are stopped by this Robotcop. He informs them they cannot pass without a present for the Governor, then turns them away. Another Robotcop appears later at the entrance to the prison on Palma; this one however is positioned lower on the screen, resulting in part of his legs being cut from our view. Or perhaps the Palma Robotcops are just shorter? The world may never know.

In terms of design, the Robotcop of Phantasy Star generation 1 is very similar to the original in Phantasy Star. Both have long, lanky limbs and ball shaped joints. One major difference is the addition of a white peaked cap. Another would be the absence of a handheld pistol; the new Robotcop has a built-in gun hidden in one arm.

I really like the design. I still prefer the older version and wish the hat was not added to the new.

Not totally fan of the design but that's not too bad ! But like Jessie, I prefer the older design !
With the cap, the element which I really don't like too much, this foe seems to be like the captain of the cruise !;)
About the Robotcops in Phantasy Star : yes you have one at the en,trance of the underground passage leading to the governor's mansion, one at the entrance of the Triada prison but another at the entrance of the prison of Baya Malay : is it the case for this last in PSG1 ?
And LOL about the (maybe) shorter Robotcops !

I haven't reached Baya Malay in PSg1 yet, so I don't know. The past few weeks have been too busy to play the game any further. When I get to that point, I'll have to check... just for the height thing, if nothing else.

Ah ok, I thought you were already at Baya Malay in this one ! Prepare your "meter measurer" (not sure about the "words" and the meters doesn't exists where you live ).
