1991 pic of a Phantasy Star game that never got released?

Discuss the saga of Algo, where the legend began.

I downloaded the rom for a trial. The only thing it has in common with phantasy star is one town is called Landale. And one female character kinda resembles Meiu. But it is not as good as any phantasy star game.

Mystery solved! Head over to the PS forums and take a look at my thread, entitled "Anyone still got their old Sega Pro mags lying around?" Read my post, currently at the bottom of the thread. It's almost certainly a blurry screen shot of Sorcerer's Kingdom. I've even put comparative screens from SK, highlighting the similarity between the character sprite in the "PS V" shot and that used in SK, and some scenery that's as near as you could get to identical in both pictures.

Sorry! No PS V, I'm afraid!

Thanks for the hint, WingDagger ! But in fact I think that PSV will never be...from a very long time, alas...with all the PSO and PSU...not bad games but not the games we were waiting for...:(
Din't know about this Sorcerer's Kingdom so I'll check !:)

I have seen pictures of the scrapped Return Of Alis. But just casual ones you'd see on the internet.

Most of the images have very choppy quality... they remind of some Viacom logo from the 70's...
