I can't read any Japanese, but thanks to the internet, I don't really have to. Take any website, cut and paste it into a google search bar, and click translate this page.

Just some minor corrections to Snorb's translations:
キュアラ = Cure is キュア. キュアラ would be Curera.
エクスプローズ = Explosion is エクスプロージョン. エクスプローズ would be Explose.
ヘルインビティ = Hell Gate is ヘルゲイト. インビティ is a shortened form of インビテイション [Invitation] and Invite is インバイト. ヘルインビティ would be Hell Invity.

Me I can read it a little but the tyranslation possibilities of google is very handful ! Easy but you need to put the words in the right order after but might be a fun thinhg to do, and very interesting if it's tied to Phantasy Star (or other things we like so much !!).
(And it's always great to know who are the person who can read or write foreign languages : opening to the world is fantastic.)

Thanks again for the corrections, I think I'll really put me back on tracks about japanese...:)

Thoul wrote:Wow, that's serious overkill. In my new playthrough I've been grinding enough money to get an HP crystal for Alis and Odin. It's already helped a lot; most of my healing now gets concentrated on Myau, who has no weapon yet and thence no crystal.

I've read one of the other crystals prevents status ailments. I may try that one. If it works 100% of the time, that means no poison or paralysis. It could make the game a lot faster.

Generation 2 has something similar only it's worse, since it's unlimited. Hughs Sulfur attack works on the Dark Force and Motherbrain, allowing you to paralyze them every 3 turns. If played right they should never get another attack after the first 2 rounds.

Also I don't think the cure crystal prevents status effects, it just cures them after each round. I'm not sure it's effective at all against paralysis though, you still may need to get a turn.

I've noticed the heal crystal still works while under paralysis, so I think even when paralyzed you still get a turn. You're just not able to do anything during it. Cure might kick in just the same. I may experiment with it sometime to see how it goes.
