Hooray for Atari! :D Without it making home consoles popular, we wouldn't have all been brought together.

A lot of the games have been republished on PlayStation 2 in collections. I know Activision put out an anthology disc with some of their games on it.

It's great to see the Atari getting the recognition it deserves for bringing video gaming into homes across the world. It really made the concept a household name.

Sparky, look around on the ebay site and you might be able to find some of the Atari games or systems and atleast get a view of what they look like.

We still have our Atari systems and our games. Haven't played them in a good while, but they were certainly fun back in the day. Maybe one of these days I'll try to see if they still work.

Some of these old Atari games are very expensive at Flea Markets and places where they are considered "antiques" and "highly collectibles".

The Atari 2600 was the first gaming system I played. Far from great, but it did have it's fair share of fun games. Adventure being my favorite.
