Favorite Baddies!

Out of all the baddies in classic Phantasy Star, which one is your favorite and why - backstory, the battle experience, appearance, or something else? It could be anything from the baby sandworms to the big daddy Dark Force.

I guess my fave is Neifirst - she has a touch of tragedy, anger, and lots of other emotions rolled up into one. The bosses in PSIV all looked better, but they didn't have as much personality.

Hm, a tough one. I guess Lashiec in PSIV. He's pretty tough with some damaging attacks. I like the fact that he's a nod to the previous games, too.

Lune from PSIII. Either path you choose, you see his influence in one way or another. And with what little you see, it leaves room for one to use their imagination. Just as whoever Rhys marries in the beginning affects the rest of the game, it affects him too, and those changes are drastic.

At the end of Nial's time, he has come to terms with his hatred for Orakians. While in Ayn's time, his fury only continues to rage on as he fights a long war with Landen.

Dark Force in PSII. It it the hardest boss in all Phantasy Star games. And Zio. Because Zio is "The holy one!!!!" (c) :D :D

I like Rappies, because they look like canaries.

PSII Dark Force, because it was so hard that I felt a great deal of accomplishment when I finally beat it!

I dunno. I've read that PSII's Dark Force is pretty hard in walkthroughs and such, but it was easy for me, while Mother Brain was a lot harder. :\

Weird, I found Motherbrain a lot easier than Dark Force actually. It depends on how often he corrupts your party members and how often the Nei Sword cleanses them I guess. I once spend four entire battlerounds in a row without being able to do something since all characters where evil and the Nei Sword was apparently on a toilet break.
"Rolf, there's no hope for me. If Neifirst is dead, I must die, too."
And in so saying, Nei silently closed her eyes.

Yeah, the Status effects Dark Force inflicts were what gave me problems. If he got everyone and the Nei Sword didn't flash, it's over!
