Ah, that's a terrific story, although a bit sad in the end. He didn't deserve that fate but you know what they saw about a woman scorned, or something like that. I find it quite believable that she wanted to, and did, try to settle the score with him regarding her sister. Sure makes you think about a bunch of bones in another light ... no telling who's bones they might be. Excellent story.

Great story, it exploits something that is only present in Phantasy Star III, as far as I know: people do right or wrong things out of their will, not because they are possessed by Dark Force or following blindly their leader who is possessed. That makes the personal vendettta against Ryan very believable, while the other games didn't leave room for that. He killed a woman in a fit of rage and he met his destiny in a fit of rage (calculated, though).

Looks like Lune has become the Hitler of Phantasy Star fanfictions: the abominable leader responsible for all the atrocities committed in his times.

The last chapter is superb, raising a philosophic issue about memories long forgotten, which will probably be buried in the sands of time.
A person only sees and hears what he wants to see and hear and disregards the rest.
