Ha, very funny tongue-in-chhek take on escapipe weird effects. It is funny to see a mad Rhys not remembering the things on Ayn generation, then Maia wishing to marry her own son, thinking he was Rhys. You've done a great job in getting me laughing. Luckily I didn't read it while working :p

On a side note, despite of the Ayn escapipe bug, PSIII code was by far stronger than PSIV. PSIII has safeguards to recover from induced failures, PSIV doesn't. It. Is possible to fight DF in the landrover. Maybe that deserves a crazy fanfic too :p
A person only sees and hears what he wants to see and hear and disregards the rest.

Oh man, this is hilarious, I enjoyed reading this very much.

There were a lot of great moments, but this:

Why nobody, from the guards to his parents to even Maia herself, commented about Rhys attending his own wedding in his socks seemed very unusual to the prince, but he soon shrugged the thought off as he turned the ocarina over in his hands, examining its blue-green glazing.

is one of the most brilliant things I have read in a long time.

I don't know what was going through your mind with this fanfic, but you didn't just push the funny button- you glued it on! I definitely enjoyed this day-trip to the local asylum.
In some stories, the princess is her own hero....
