Sprite Sheets and other interesting things

Postby tilinelson2 » Fri Mar 25, '11, 2:00 pm

Our friend Yoz, who loves to slice and dice PS games, extracting everything that is possible from them, had just published new sprite sheets for PSIII, much improved from the other ones I've ever seen.

His sprite sheets can be found on gazetadealgol, a Brazilian PS site:

http://gazetadealgol.com.br/diversos/sprites/ps3

Every PS fan should check it.

Those are excellent sprites. The character I looked at, Sean, was not set up for RM2K as is since each box was 32x32 instead of 24x32, but easily incorperated into the Chara template. I will redo these to fit and work on RM2K later tonight.

Is the person that created these in this forum? I havent seen his name here in the member list (Yoz)

He isn't on the forums. At least not anymore. Or he has never been a member.

I reformatted his work for use with RM2K, uploaded here: http://dragonthrone.namepad.org/

Credits for ripping of course for Yoz.

Great work - I know it had to take forever to rip each animation frame.

Yoz finally updated his sprite captures for PSIII, completing with all the possible NPCs. Besides, he had found some curiosities about the game. The summary of the new things found can be found here (in Portuguese):

And the complete spritesheet here:

Yes, it was only one person who did it. He is really a hero :D

And he does that to other games from the series as well. Currently, he is trying to discover secrets from PS Gaiden.

He had already done that to PSI: http://www.gazetadealgol.com.br/diversos/sprites/ps1

And you can thank him on the blog link I've posted. He will surely read it.
