It was a nice detailed telling of Hahn's story prior to the events of PSIV. Interesting enough, Hahn is a bit underdeveloped on the game, but the details of his past provides one of the best sources for writing background stories for PSIV characters. And you took advantage of that to write a nice story.

It is a very short story. It suits well as a follow-up to Armorer's Son, as it furthers the idealistic ideals of the protagonist. Looks like Hahn wanted to do something, anything, as he was still in doubt of which path of studies he'd take; he just wants to get in. That fits well his character.

I expect more stories about him to come.

Believe it or not, I hated writing this story, because it was too emotional for my tastes.

I was aiming for Flash Fiction range (<1,000 words), and overshot by about 2. There was a more complicated excuse on why Hahn wasn't sure of his major, but I like your reason more, tili.

Interesting follow up to the previous story and turn of events. Well now we know that he's gotten in to study, I hope we'll find out more about what happens with him next.

Okay, I stand by my previous statement that you write PSIV a lot better than PSII. I liked the little touch at the end that, despite Hahn's not following his father's footsteps directly, he's really taking on the same work, but from a completely different angle.
