Cute story, Snorb. I liked that it was a follow-up to "Heartbeat, Heartbreak." Shir's a fascinating character and, for some reason, her sexuality has been popping up in a lot of stories I've read about her recently. :) But yeah, she seems to ooze it a lot more than the other female characters of the game.

I mention now that I wasn't planning on reading this story; romance is a big turn-off for me. This was a touch of a sentimental story, Shir thinking back to what all happened to the others since PS II. I didn't spot anything off to notify you of.

I reiterate that I almost skipped over this story, and I'm glad I didn't- it's crafted very well.
In some stories, the princess is her own hero....

Cool follow-up to Heartbeat, Heartbreak. It is a bit peculiar how the characters are always switching their partners, but that is fine anyway. Your Shir is lovely. And I love the way you portray her as a mature person now.
Though she had romantic experiences with some of their past partners, in fact she loves them all. And obviously the PSII characters are the ones more inclined to live "as a family" after the events of the game, so that makes your story work.
A person only sees and hears what he wants to see and hear and disregards the rest.

I really liked this one, I will say that much. :D A bit of reflection is always good to read about and I laughed a little when it cut back to reality, so to speak.

Very enjoyable story! A nice sequel, sort of, to the previous story. It was romantic and fun, and fun to read too. Enjoyed the theme of the wind, and several other touches that make the story fun.

Great writing! :)

You have a nice reflective story here, Snorb. I haven't read "Heartbeat, Heartbreak" yet so I'm probably missing something based on some of the other reviews. Anyway, I enjoyed reading it. It was nice to again see some of the humor I've come to expect from your writings when cutting away from Shir's reflections. :D

Great ending, too. It's nice to see the most wild of the PSII crew embracing the idea of the group as a family.

I think it was beautiful and touching, especially coming from Shir, but then again, you've always done her a great service in your characterization of her. My writing, not so much. I still see her as a brat and a thief and a shameless flirt--still fun as fun gets, though. So I come along and read one of your stories with Shir and I suddenly feel guilty for making her fairly amoral. Darn you, Snorb, and your touching portrayal of Shir!

...and holy smack! I demand you follow up on the jokes about Shir and Rudo at the end of the story! Because lawd knows, we need more unusual shippings in PSII. They're so interchangeable.
