It's the beginning of a new phase of the Batman story that could be really great or really bad. There are going to be at least two true Batmen working together for the first time. This kind of thing has happened with some other comic characters - Flash, Green Lantern, Captain America - with some success. It will be interesting to see how the same concept develops with the Batman family. Either the story will be forever improved or this will be swept under the rug within a couple of years. Hopefully, it will have some good, lasting impact.
