What would you change?

If you could hack a phantasy star game what would you change and why would you change it?
It should be only a minor change that ofcourse will affect/change the story completely.

My change would be this:
I would hack Phantasy Star 2 to have access to the space shuttle before Parma is destroyed!
It doesn't add anything to story (although maybe you can actually save the planet) but gives you much more to explore ( I wonder how much Parma has advanced during those years between PS1 & PS2).

I'd erase the header bytes of PSIV cartridge, making it unplayable :p

I'd hack PSIV in some way to stop Demi from having to leave your party after beating Zio.
Next Pokemon game(s): Pearl
Last finished Pokémon game: Shield
Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation

Hmm...Better "cut scenes" for the PSIII weddings and have the charcters appear when attacking the enemies.
*H-Man as Chaz, looks at Rika, aka Paula* Chaz-Man- "Hey, I've been wandering around Motavia for quite a while with you now. It says in that weird blue box up there that one more battle with a sandworm and we can level up to husband and wife!"

Hmmm... so just things that could reasonably be hacked? I'll go with:

Phantasy Star - Faster battle animations - especially the zombie sprite enemies.

Phantasy Star II - I don't know if this could be hacked, but just simple backgrounds on the battles would be nice.

Phantasy Star III - Expanded script with richer dialog and more character development.

Phantasy Star IV - Making Zio a playable character, yeah this sounds evil but it would be fun.

I like that one!

They should have done that with PS III: an evil party (not saving the Alisa III but destroying it in the end helping DF...)

I suppose in every Phantasy Star game you could create a hack where you played as a villain trying to stop the heroes. Fighting the heroes would even make for an awesome last boss battle :D

There are so many fun possibilities for this.. like playing a Lashiec in the original Phantasy Star or a pair of robot assassins hunting Rolf in Phantasy Star II. I don't normally like games where you play as the bad guy but admit something like this would be cool to try.
