I must say that I didn't much care for many of the games' box art. PSII's was atrocious. Rolf looked like he was ready for retirement!

I have to agree on that. Most of the games had terrible box art. US PSIV would have been okay as a separate piece, but didn't really fit the characters in the content of the game. The best box art, IMO, is that from the PSIII Japan box.

What's the PSIII Japanese box art look like? I don't know that I've seen it. :hmm:

You know the painted art of Rhys, with his sword resting on his shoulder? That's the cover. The back was similar art, also painted, of Wren and Mieu. They're standing back to back, with Mieu facing outward and Wren looking over his shoulder.
