What PS Publication/Game Do You Want Translated Most?

If you had an opportunity to use a professional translation service to translate something PS related, what would be your first choice?

I think my first choice would either be the PS stories in the Sega Players Enjoy Club or the PSII futabasha.

Hm, that's difficult. I'd probably for the SPEC stories. They could add a lot of interesting material to the universe and would be pretty hard to get done on a fan basis.

PSGen2, without a doubt. I was really disappointed when this and PSGen1 had their US releases cancelled.

Nakama: A Card Game of Magical Girls - A completely un-playtested card game about being a magical girl.

Well, excuse me while I defy all laws of logic and common sense and do it anyway.

I was disappointed to hear they were never going to make it out to Europe. :/ I'd also vote for PS Gen 2.

Just had to bump this thread to let you all know that I sent SPEC #7 (just the Phantasy Star portions) to a translation service for a quote. Since it's a holiday weekend, I probably won't get an estimate until Tuesday. If it's not too expensive I might just take the dive and get it translated. I will, of course, share it with everyone if I go ahead with this. Stay tuned!

Wow, I really look forward to hearing more on this! Even the quote is too high, at least we'll have an idea of what it might cost.

Got a call back from the translation service. It was hard for them to make a really accurate estimate, but they said it would probably be near $1,000. That's more than I was willing to spend. Maybe if I get it translated in smaller chunks I can get it done over time. Literature is usually more complicated to translate than technical stuff, so maybe that factors into the price.

*sigh* And I really want the PSII Futabasha translated, but I can only imagine that would cost a few thousand dollars. :(

Ouch! That's way more than I would have expected. This is why fan translations should always be appreciated.
