Rhys Landen (born 2274)
Bloodline: Orakian, direct descendant of Orakio sa Riik

Fortune has smiled well upon the newly-crowned King of Landen. After a harrowing adventure across three realms, he has found his bride and returned home to Landen a hero. However, the recent Biomonster attacks on his realm cause the citizens of Landen to wonder: Will there be another Devastation War in the months to come?
Maia Landen (born 2276)
Bloodline: Pure Layan
Weapon Proficiency: Boomerangs, Knives
Technique Proficiency: Healing, Temporal
Rhys's wife and queen, she is well-loved in spite of her Layan descent. The new outbreak of Biomonsters fills her with worry- why would her own cousin attack the kingdom she rules alongside Rhys?
Lena Satera (born 2275, died 2313)
Bloodline: Pure Orakian
Weapon Proficiency: Knives, Needle Guns
Technique Proficiency: No Techniques
Rhys's best friend, and queen of Satera. She is nervous about her kingdom's proximity to Landen, as she sees it a constant reminder of her failure to marry Rhys. Even still, Lena keeps friendly diplomatic relations with Rhys's kingdom, as well as doting upon her daughter Sari.
Tragically, Lena has died alongside her husband during the biomonster attack against Satera. Her last act was to send Sari to hopeful safety in Landen.
Lyle Shusoran (born 2275, died 2313)
Bloodline: Pure Layan
Weapon Proficiency: Knives, Magical Staves
Technique Proficiency: Melee
Maia's cousin, and ruler of the Unified Kingdoms of Cille and Shusoran. His beloved wife Luna passed away several years ago, leaving him with only their daughter Thea. Several attacks on his realms have him wondering one question: Rhys, are you behind these robots attacking Shusoran?
Lyle has suffered terribly recently- Thea has been captured by a machine army commanded by a mysterious Lord Siren, and during the evacuation of Shusoran he was blinded in his left eye. He has since joined forces with the dragon knight Ryan in an attempt to rescue Thea from captivity in Lensol Castle. The rescue didn't exactly go smoothly- Thea had been snatched from him by the mysterious Lune la Dahlia as he and Ryan lie gravely injured.
After two days of escape and recovery, Lyle was again gravely injured following an attack by a legion of machine soldiers. His final orders to Ryan were to return to Aerone and gather men for a raid on the moon of Dahlia.
Lyle's injuries were too much for him; he finally met his death at the shores of Cape Dragon Spine, reunited with his daughter for merely a minute.
(Second Generation)
Ayn Landen (born 2295)
Bloodline: Half-Orakian, direct descendant of Orakio sa Riik
Weapon Proficiency: Greatswords, Knives, Needle Guns
Technique Proficiency: Healing, Temporal
The son of Rhys and Maia, and the crown Prince of Landen. He carries himself proudly, though at times he has trouble reconciling his dual heritage. The recent biomonster outbreaks, he believes, are only a herald of something far worse.
Following the destruction of the Sateran kingdom, Ayn has silently sworn to protect his friend Sari. This may be confounded by a glimpse at the future, in which he had an intimate view of her. Ayn may have guided himself down this potential future, having received a brief kiss from his lifelong friend in Divisia. His confidence is starting to grow following an encounter in Divisia against four drunken soldiers.
Sari Lin Satera (born 2296)
Bloodline: Pure Orakian
Weapon Proficiency: Knives, Needle Guns
Technique Proficiency: No Techniques
Lena's daughter, the princess of Satera is known through the realms of Satera and Landen for not only her great physical strength, but also her peerless beauty. She's extremely tomboyish, and enjoys teasing her childhood friend Ayn. Currently, Sari's trying to remain tough despite the deaths of her parents in Satera. She sees Ayn as her rock, and is beginning to see Ayn as more than just any other friend. This connection is beginning to deepen following a bar fight against several Divisian soldiers.
Mieu (born 1738, aging halted in 1756)
Bloodline: Pure Orakian, enhanced with ancient nanotechnology
Weapon Proficiency: Claws
Technique Proficiency: Healing, Order, Grantz
Mieu is one of Ayn's bodyguards, and fusses over him as if he were a younger brother. She is a young woman implanted with cybernetics several hundred years ago due to a serious hovercraft accident. Her sister, Miun, is currently wandering the Aridian desert, looking for Orakio.
Wren (constructed 1296)
Bloodline: Android
Weapon Proficiency: Rifles, Vulcan Cannons
Technique Emulation: Melee, Temporal
Wren is Ayn's other bodyguard. Unlike Mieu, he is not a cyborg- he is a Siren-class android, believed to be the last of his kind. An expert on ancient technology, Wren is also adept at several forms of combat.
Thea la Dahlia (born 2296)
Bloodline: Pure Layan
Weapon Proficiency: Boomerangs, Knives, Needle Guns
Technique Proficiency: Healing, Melee, Order
The former princess of Shusoran, Thea has lived a carefree life for most of her seventeen years. Two tragedies, however, have shaped her life: The death of her mother ten years ago, and her capture and imprisonment at Lensol Castle. Currently, she hopes and prays for a valiant knight to rescue her. Her prayers may have been answered by a mysterious man who calls her "his beauty" and "his darling."
Thea was gravely injured during her rescue attempt by an errant Gra Technique thrown by her father as he and the mysterious man fought. This man, Lune la Dahlia, has brought her to Dahlia. Following a journey through a strange domain, she has been transformed by Lune's mysterious benefactor into the queen of Dahlia. Alongside Lune, Thea seeks to avenge the destroyed Layan lands by killing the Orakians and establishing a new Layan kingdom. Her first proposition was to conquer the two Orakian cities south of her homeland and use their technology and enslaved citizens to create Layan biomonsters to use in Landen.
Thea has reunited with her father for only a moment, just to torture him with thoughts of failure. She is pregnant with Lune's daughter.
Ryan (born 2279)
Bloodline: Pure Layan
Weapon Proficiency: Knives, Needle Guns, Staves
Technique Profiency: Temporal
Ryan's past is currently unknown to his traveling companion, Lyle. What is known is that he and Lune, the Layan beastlord, have conflicting views of relationships between the Orakians- while Lune wants no reconciliation with the Orakians, Ryan as well as other like-minded Layans fight to see a reunion between the two peoples. He is assisting Lyle in storming Lensol Castle in a desperate attempt to save Thea.
The attempt to rescue Thea turned out to be a disaster- they had been beaten to the punch by Lune la Dahlia, brother of his former fiancee, Alair. After a brief fight, Lune easily defeated the two, bringing Thea with him to the moon of Dahlia. After two days of running from Lensol, Lyle ordered him to escape to the Plains of Elysium and contact the reunionists in an effort to storm Dahlia and rescue Thea.
Siren (constructed 1296)
Bloodline: Android

A sister unit to Wren, Siren is the ruthless commander of the Orakian Android Army. From his base on Satellite, he oversees the army's actions. Siren was able to return from the moon of Azura, where he was imprisoned a millennium ago, due to the actions of Rhys Landen.
Lune la Dahlia (born 1273, held in cryogenic suspension from 1294 to 2308)
Bloodline: Pure Layan

Techniques: Melee, Order
The former second in command of Laya's forces during the Devastation War, Lune was imprisoned on the moon of Dahlia before the war's last battle. Revived due to the actions of Rhys Landen, he set out to destroy the Orakians with his monster army. At the urgings of his unknown patron, he has brought Thea Shusoran to Dahlia after a fight with her father and his traveling companion. With the power of his patron, Lune has transformed Thea into his wife and queen. He and Thea plan to enslave the Orakian people of Aquatica in an effort to launch an attack on Landen.
Alair la Dahlia (born 1274, held in cryogenic suspension from 1294 to 2308)
Bloodline: Pure Layan
Weapon Proficiency: Boomerangs, Knives
Techniques: Healing
The younger sister of Lune la Dahlia, Alair was frozen and revived alongside her brother following the Devastation War. She was engaged to marry Ryan at one point, and is a principal figure in the Layan reunification movement. Alair is currently being held in a dungeon in Divisia Castle, a prisoner of the ruling king of Divisia.
