How was your Christmas?

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Mon Dec 28, '09, 6:20 pm

How was your Christmas? Was Santa good to you this year? I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a happy time with family, friends, etc.

Have you taken your Christmas tree and other decorations down yet, or are you leaving them up awhile?

Well, Christmas may be over for this year, but the spirit of Christmas can live on in your heart all year round.

As for me, I had a very nice Christmas. Not much hussle and bustle this year, just a quiet time with family, etc. I'm looking forward to next year and next Christmas already. :p

Glad to hear you had a good Christmas, Silver.

I had a nice Christmas, too; my hubby and I really enjoyed our Christmas with family. The tree is still up, although we'll have to take it down soon, since my dog keeps stealing ornaments off the tree and destroying them. He gets treats and a new toy for his present, and yet he still wants those ball ornaments... :D

Our Christmas was also pretty awesome, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and like always to much food is cooked up so we still have lots of food left over. We took both of our trees down yesterday.

Eh. It wasn't good, it wasn't bad. I'm not used to winter in Florida, I miss the snow and freezing...though with this cold front, I've already gotten the freezing down. >_>

Anyways, I spent it with my friend's family and friends. Nice people, but parties are awkward for me since I am shy and a bit claustrophobic. I realised that more when we went out to a restaurant last weekend that had an all you can eat buffet. The place was packed!

Off-topicness aside, I got a waffle maker thingy from my friend and a deep fryer... I do love waffles, and I prefer gifts with usefulness and practicality over things that you can just look at and set aside. But with that said, I was happy with the waffle maker but I felt weird about the deep fryer since I've never used one. But I love cooking, so it should be fun to try. ^_^ From my friend's mom, I got a sweater that I thought was rather...erm, cheap? It was thin and wouldn't keep me warm in cold weather, so I am still debating on what to do with it. I also got a teddy bear, which, again, I have no idea what to do with it. I've never been the type of girl to go nuts over stuffed bears, and I felt a little awkward accepting it, but I thanked her and still need to figure out what to do with the thing. ^^;; Perhaps I can just keep it as a memento of my time spent down here~

Next year I'll be looking forward to spending the holidays with my family. I've really missed them last Christmas. =\
