Who was the most effective villain?

Discuss the saga of Algo, where the legend began.

Don't forget about the theory that says PSII DF is really PSIII DF. If that is true, then his body count soars even higher. Especially if you consider what he might have done on Earth.

My vote for getting the closest to one's goals is the third DF in PSIV. His mission was to discover the location of Rykros, which he did. In a sense, he completely succeeded! :p

Yeah, that would make that DF by far the worst DF of them all! PSII DF was so difficult to beat that it should get a few points for that too. I swear, that's the hardest boss in any game I've ever fought! (Until my hacks! :p)

:D Good point! It did accomplish it's mission... and proceeded to get butchered as a reward!

Lashute as a collective whole was pretty effective, in my opinion. They were able to engineer things insomuch that everything went according to plan and Dark Force released, even if they were all destroyed in the end. Because of them, Satera, Shushoran, Cille, and Azura were destroyed. [facetious] Also, their actions resulted in a couple of descendants of Orakio marrying either their cousin or women who are more than 1,000 years old. [/facetious]

The Earthmen.

They wrangled control of a star system that wasn't even theirs, manipulated it behind the scenes for centuries, altered the environment of an entire planet and completely annihilated another. When they were destroyed, the Algol system was thrown into a dark age that lasted for at least 1,000 years, and according to PSIV, 90% of the population of Algol was wiped out due to their schemes. I'd say that's pretty effective.

In my opinion it was Profound Darkness. It killed all the PS series :p

I'm trying to find a joke about a PSIV movie featuring Geise Arruda as the PD, but it's not quite coming out.

I can't vouch for which villain was the most effective in terms of carrying out their goals, but Zio deserves credit for permanently killing off one of the playable characters.

By that logic, Neifirst should get a shout out.
