Should Sega go back?

Discuss the saga of Algo, where the legend began.

i think any sort of events happening post-psiv should not be touched at all. it's already great as it is, and i sincerely doubt any remake of it is going to make it better, but rather tarnish the series.

what i really enjoy that's been said so far is fans going back to fill-in blanks within the series. it is up to fans to do this, and i personally think it's a great idea.

Perhaps, if not set in Algol, it could at least go back to its roots as a turn-based RPG.

No reason why games like that could not co-exist with the games with the current gameplay.

If it is in a new system, or it is thousands of years later in the Algol one, perhaps people got technology at some point to actually create a planet, so we got three planets once again (or more).

If a monolith from the Space Odyssey series could create a minisun, something similar could be done to bring more life to old systems in PS.
