Recently, I received an e-mail from the webmaster of A Gazeta de Algol, a Brazilian Phantasy Star fan site. The Brazilian fan community gathered together to get a copy of the book commonly known as the Phantasy Star Compendium and scan the entire thing. They've put it together in a PDF file and made it available for download. You can find a link to it here, if you're interested in looking at the book:

I recall seeing this on another forum. Still, it was nice to see the artwork, other than just the text translation. My only disappointment is that there wasn't much info on PSIII, as the main focus seemed to be on PSIV and its concepts.

Yeah, the book is definitely geared more to PSIV. I suppose it's because of the different team that worked on PSIII. Whoever put the book together probably had more access to the PSIV team and their materials.
