Just out of curiosity, do you see Seth as: (1) a real archaeologist, born of human parents, who was possessed by Dark Force or (2) a transient manifestation of Dark Force in human form?

I tend to place Rune in his mid-thirties, for a number of reasons that would probably bore everyone. The only point I’ll make here is this: the best military outfits include people from a broad age-range. Young people in their teens and early 20s have unmatched energy and physical stamina. However, career officers aged 40 and over are equally invaluable for their knowledge and experience. Eisenhower, for example, was in his 50s when he served as the Allied Supreme Commander in Europe; I doubt a younger man could have supervised the France/ Germany campaigns so well. People in their 30s tend to fall somewhere in between, combining some of the energy of youth with some of the experience of age. But no single age-group is ideal for such operations; everyone’s contribution is necessary.
The Protectors are not a military outfit, but they are nonetheless fighting a war of sorts. Excluding the androids, let’s look at the age range: Chaz Ashley is 16; Rika is 1; Hahn Mahlay is 24; Gryz is 19; Kyra Tierney is 18. The only exception is Raja, who is in his 80s (which is apparently middle-aged for Dezolians). To balance the party, one really needs some team-members who are in their 30s or older.
I realise that video games are often targeted at a teenage market, and tend to portray anyone over 25 as dead weight , but it would be much more realistic to have some experience on board when fighting the epitomisation of evil.
Just my 2 cents
