Arthur Clark a famous science fiction author has died. He was famous for his many writings along with other various works, etc. He was 90 years of age.

Interesting that he asked for a secular (non-religious) funeral.

I never read any of his works, but I doubt there's a science fiction fan that has never heard of him. He had a major influence on the field, as well as the real life space program. He inspired a lot of people, which is a very rare thing these days.
