Best Potential Fourth Generation Character

Alright, so a fourth generation in PSIII would be a little dull without Dark Force running around. Maybe an "epilogue" where you have to clean-up the last of Dark Force's followers or stop someone from starting another Orakian-Layan war would work. Whatever, just suppose there was a fourth generation.. which pairing would produce the best character?

Note: Adan-Gwyn are out for obvious reasons. Aron-Kara also since they're first cousins (their parents are brother & sister). Yeah, Ayn and Thea were second cousins (their parents were cousins) but that's generally considered acceptable (albeit a little weird).

I gotta go with Crys-Laya, a very strong fighter with a range of magic.

I say go for the Adan-Kara because they both come from decent families. They're both strong in their own individual class. But maybe Adan doesn't have to marry Kara, maybe he could marry whoever he wanted, like maybe someone we've never seen such as a traveller or a servant of his. And what about the Sean,Crys,Adan,Aron/Mieu love thing.. Cmon a alternate generation involving the son/daughter (i say daughter would be a neat change of pace) of everyones favorite Hero (whoever you chose) and they're favorite lovable android.

Crys-Kara seems good to me. You've got a strong uniting of the Layans and Orakians there. Their kid would be a good fighter, with decent magic skills. He'd definitely need backup of a dedicated magician, but should make for a good leader.

Sean/Laya's my choice on this one- Their son would have some pretty godly Healing Techs, the support of the Neo Palm, and would be a direct relative of Orakio (great-great......grandson) and Laya (nephew/niece).

The only downsides? He'd be 7/8th Layan, so he wouldn't be as great with a sword as his father. That, and he'd likely be stuck with Laya's near-useless Order Techs. (On the plus side, Sean has Healing from both his parents. Melee from Thea, and Time from Ayn, and Laya has Order, so, hey, I guess this means their son would have all sixteen normal Techs!)

Crys and Sean get to marry "bad" Kara. A child of Crys and Kara would have the worst possible magical ability. But when it comes to the hero type who smashes his enemies with a two-handed sword, my money is on Crys-Kara. Who needs wussy magic?

On the other hand, Sean-Laya's child would probably come out the God(dess) of Magic.

since the way the Aron ending ends if he was to marry Laya then I guess their child would fight against Dark Force (or its followers) on Earth ane eventually lose. Their child would be gifted with great strength and decent magic though. Most likely in the way Sean's story goes his child, whoever he would marry would seek out revenge for his parents death because come on, Sean has the worse luck outta all the characters with people staying alive.. Crys-Kara would probably give birth to a magical Sari. Beautiful yet strong, probably the only scenario where I could see someone having a female child become the protagonist. Crys-Laya I don't know abou t that.. Most likely their child would be gifted in decent healing magic and good strength but thats about it. Adan's only choice is to marry Kara so like I said before their child would be gifted in a all around decent strengths from both his/her parent. If the story were to pick up from where Adan left off I believe Adan's child would probably take up travelling around the new planet with his/her cousin (whoever Gwyn marries) and they go around and meet new friends and eventually face off against something similar to the PD (Not DF) but only a slight weaker version.

But in Toyo Ozaki's comic, it states that Kara was raised as Aron's fiancée. She even says, "He is my fiancé, as our parents wished." And in a comic where Lyle abducts "Maia" he's all like, "Ha ha ha, you should give up and be my wife..." which implies that Lyle obviously had some interest in his cousin. In Japan, I've heard that marriage between cousins is actually quite common...

But with the choices as they are, I'd pick Crys/Kara, since the melee force on their child would be great. ^_^ Crys/Laya would also be interesting, with Crys' strength and Laya's powerful tech ability. As for Adan/Kara, I can't say I'm a fan of that, while I've never cared too much about Sean's possible pairing with either Kara or Laya (although I think Sean/Kara wouldn't be that bad).

I totally forgot about that comic. I guess in royal families it was commonplace for cousins to marry and I suppose the same would apply here (especially considering that the Alisa III must have a pretty shallow dating pool).

Huh, look at that.. is it common for cousins to marry in Japan: http://www.cousincouples.com/?page=facts - 4x the rate as the US, I had no idea.

Of course here in the states it's usually considered a "redneck" thing for cousins to marry. Personally I find it kinda creepy (no offense to anyone currently married to their cousin :stir: ), maybe it's a cultural bias I didn't know I had.

I think any decendent of Sari would be ultimately powerful. Plus no matter which Kara, Pretty or tough, you're still gonna get some good strength there.

So if Lena is Sari's mother, who's her father? And where did she get all that power?
Everything has a pattern. Something set. Even random things. They aren't random at all, its complex mathematics. The trick is to find the pattern. Then you can exploit it.

People think things have a certain end. Taxes. Work. Due dates don't really exist. Trust me. When you put a band of world scholars in the same room, and set them on talking about anything, the most interesting topics come up. The existence of negative time. The probability of "random occurrence". The government's involvement in the media. And falsified due dates. They aren't real, trust me....

I don't know. Kara has the "tough girl" image but she's the second-weakest character in the whole game (Lena).

Chuck Norris.
