Read this article this morning about actor Johnny Depp possibly being out as the character Jack Sparrow in the "Pirates Of The Caribbean" movies:

Really don't know why they would want to get rid of such a popular actor in such a popular movie saga. Sounds like there is something not being said in the article. Maybe Depp does not want to do the character anymore or something. :bang:

Read this morning that it is now official that Johnny Depp will not be playing the role of Jack Sparrow in any future Disney movies.

It remains to be seen if this is a wise move on their part to drop Depp, or not. The last Pirates movie supposedly did not do too well, but the actor has made that role his own in so many ways, I think.

What does everyone else think?
