I bought the DVD and finally got around to watching this movie today!
My opinion...
If you like elder country actors (Kris Kristofferson, Trace Adkins) in westerns, then you might like this one.
However, be warned there are several not so family friendly scenes in the movie. I had to fast forward over those a couple of times which I absolutely hate doing in a movie and try to find movies without those types of scenes. I don't know why they have to add nudity, etc., as if the movie can not stand on it's own without such tactics. Maybe the movie was rated as such. I really did not even think of looking at the rating this time because I assumed a western would not include such stuff. Dumb me!
And, since this movie was based kind of on real life people that lived in the old west such as Wild Bill Hickok and John Wesley Hardin, etc., there were things in the movie that I have never heard about either character and did not know, so now I am going to look them both up on Wikipedia or some place to find out if any of this was true or if they just put it in for the movie. If I find they just put it in for the movie then that will lower my opinion of this movie that much more because I also absolutely hate it when they do that kind of stuff to well known historical figures.
End of rant!
