Video of my Turtle

Postby Lucas » Mon Nov 1, '10, 6:33 am

On the weekend I did a recording of my pet turtle. This is the first video on my youtube account not to be video game related (I think :blank: ). It's also the first video I’ve actually recorded with my camera. I explain a few thing about her particular species and for those of you wandering about her name I was going to tell the story of that in my second video when I let her run around outside, kind of a funny story really. Mind you it has a 20 second intro before the turtle.

Any questions or comments, throw them at me please.

That's quite cute actually. Like you said she seems excited to be on camera. :D

And those are some claws on her feet as well might I add? I suppose you've got the ideal climate for keeping them as pets there Lucas. A lot of people in the UK here try keeping turtles and other exotic pets, but it's not the right place for them really.

Aww, she's cute! I like turtles.

From some of the camera angles, it almost looked like she had a bulge (like a sac or something) under her chin. Does she or was it just camera angle?

@ Xander: Yes she does have a nice set of claws, they give a good scratch too.

@ CW: She was inflating her throat with air.

I'm glad you guys like her. :)

Turtles are energetic animals, tortoises on the other hand...

Really? I thought turtles and tortoises were the same thing. Thanks for enlightening me.
