According to the research firm DFC Intelligence, 92% of PC games purchased in 2013 were done digitally. Services like Steam, Origin, and Humble Bundle must really be pulling their weight these days.

I didn't buy a whole lot of games last year in general, but for PC games I may have only bought 1 or 2 physical games, and the rest were digital, and the only reason I bought the physical PC games was due to a clearance sale on Amazon.

Digital distribution is no doubt the future of PC gaming, and I for one am okay with it. I like the extreme sales and not having my closets cluttered with PC games.
