Wasn't sure where to put this so decided here in General Gaming for now.
Anyway here is an interesting article regarding Video Game Characters and how they look and why some of the characters bodies, etc., may not look very realistic as compared to how real people may look. Seems PBS (Public Broadcasting Station) has a program on this although I haven't seen it yet. Has anyone else seen the PBS program?
http://www.engadget.com/2015/04/22/bodi ... _truncatedAlthough some characters look perfectly normal to me such as Mario, Princess Peach, Link, Zelda, etc., there are some that look like they have been lifting weights majorly to get the type of build they have or doing some other strategy to achieve the look and that no matter how hard a real person tried they might possibly never achieve the same look. Are we used to such unrealistic body types of some characters by now that we just ignore them and proceed on with playing the game, or what?
What does everyone think of this subject?
