I was bored when I drew this the other day. I also did a bit of an experiment with her hair instead of drawing each individual strand like I have recently been doing, I instead grouped it up and made it look a little more sharp (or forceful) looking. I can't say I’m happy with her hair like that but hey that's what experiments are about right? I thought the overall drawing turned out well except for her hands in my opinion. I might colour this one yet.

Your comments or thoughts would be appreciated. :)

Her arms a little on the short side, yes. But other than that, it seems good. When drawing arms one thing to remember, though it varies slightly from person to person, is that elbows generally come down to waist level.

As for hair, drawing the outline of the hair is the way most people start, so you're onto something here. Once that's done you can then add the extra details.

I ahven't got much time, got to be out in a couple of minutes, so I'll leave you this link for your attention. Should come in handy. :)

Nice drawing, Lucas! I like what you've done with her hair. :) That's an interesting pose you have her in too.

At first glance on seeing her belly exposed, I almost thought it looked like she may be about to lose her pants somehow.

I think that's a great idea you have about coloring this one.

@ Xander: Thanks for the link mate. I'll know doubt use it in the near future. :D

@ Wing Eye: Thanks dude, I was trying to give this image a more isolated or lonely kind of feel, so yes you could say she might be feeling sadness for an unknown reason.

@ SS: Oh no, her pants aren't going anywhere :misspeak: :faint: I had her shirt blowing around in the breeze much like her hair. She is after all on top of a tall rocky monolith. Thanks for your comment. :)

Just to add to what I posted earlier, before I forget, there's always DeviantArt for your tutorials and such. There are quite a few handy little tutorials you can look-up over there. :)
