I'm sure what I'll do is experiment to see what works best and then go with it. I pesonally don't care if it looks HD or not knowing that this isn't going to be up to snuff compared to other games made for this gen of consoles. Even with good filters it'll still look like an old school game but for me having great games[especially all 4 Phantasy Stars] on one disc for 30 bones+tax to play on my TV vs having to hook up anything from my PC is enough for me to warrant a purchase. But PSP does have some great points and if you have a way of testing this out first I'd probably advise that before you throw down money on something just to be disappionted later on[but I know I won't be :D]

Today, Sega revealed how Phantasy Star is unlocked on this collection.
Sega wrote:You earn the original Phantasy Star in a clever way—by beating Robotnik in Green Hill Zone in Sonic 2—but with two players. That means a second controller has to be plugged in, and someone needs to have Tails bouncing around doing his Tails thing during the boss-fight (in Sonic 2, Tails’ thing is collecting stray rings for Sonic, and not messing up on the bonus stages).

They also revealed loading Phantasy Star IV unlocks an interview Phantasy Star Universe producer Takao Miyoshi. There's more on this Sega blog post, but it doesn't relate to Phantasy Star beyond this.

Okay then looks like me and my brother will have to tag-team Robotnik. Anything for Phantasy Star

Ewww, they are making me play a Sonic game to play the original Phantasy Star. How criminal. Has anyone played this game yet? How are the Phantasy Star games?

Well as far as I know Tails can still "die" as long as Sonic doesn't.

Still haven't gotten around to playing it as I got stuck babysitting (Why did I have to be nice and let my sister and her boyfriend go see a movie! Why?!

I'll be checking it out later tonight starting with perhaps, Phantasy Star IV. Maybe even Sonic the Hedgehog! ^-^

[EDIT] Amazing! Absolutely amazing! They also have an option where you can turn the smoothing off if you would like and you can really see the difference then. I have already unlocked Phantasy Star. ALso for PSIV, they fixed the music glitch which occured in the PS2 Genesis Collection after the battles. Glad that they fixed it.
