Ultimate Collection: Phantasy Star confirmed!

Sega has again unintentionally leaked details about the unlockable games on the upcoming Genesis collection for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. If you go to the official site for the collection and click through a couple of pages in the screenshots area there, you'll see four screenshots of Phantasy Star 1! This confirms that all four games are definitely on this collection, making it officially the most complete Phantasy Star collection ever released outside of Japan. And there are still 45 other games to enjoy, too.

There are screenshots of Phantasy Star II and IV right after the Phantasy Star screens, Phantasy Star III screenshots are on the first page. There is also now an official release date: February 10.

The Circle is complete! I absolutely cannot wait for this now....this has got to be the best Sega news for me in a long time.

Very good news, but I still dream with generation1 and 2 translated as well as the PSI mobile version emulated and translated.
PS adventures, text adventures and gaiden are welcomed too.

Huh I tried poking around and the only screenshots I saw were for PS3...I wonder if they rotate these around...

Below the screenshots there should be an image of an arrow in a box; if you click that, it changes the screenshots displayed.

2009 is going to drain me of all my cash from games...

All of these are being released within the next 30 days or so I think.

Now I'm certain this should be well worth the buy.

I saw the pictures... I don't like the image interpolation result. To me that super2xsai (or whatever it is) deformed many parts of the game's scenarios/characters, etc...



but I still want to see the package!

I'm sure the pictures they're showing are just bad copies...I seriously doubt it's going to be that bad...granted it won't look like things at todays standards but I'm sure on a larger tv it'll be just fine

Looks like they're being stretched to fit a wide-screen display, I bet it looks much better if the original aspect ratio is maintained.
