[face=Times New Roman]C- Colours Of The Wind

From the Disney animated feature "Pocahontas" (1995).

Often performed by Vanessa Williams, but I'm not sure who wrote the lyrics or composed the melody.

D - De-Fi-Ance - Galahad

Love this song. It starts out with a beautiful choral section which I think is sung by a boy, then it goes to one man just screaming 'De-Fi-Ance!' in as harsh a voice as you can get without using death vocals. Love it.

[face=Times New Roman]Indeed it was, and also composed by her, with lyrics by Paul Williams. Lovely choice, Silver; it is one of the most romantic songs ever written. :)

H - Home - Dream Theater

One of the best songs from Dream Theater's last good album, Scenes From a Memory. After that they just fell off for me.

I - "If I Can Dream" - sung by Elvis Presley. Written by Earl Brown.

Elvis first performed this song on his 1968 TV Comeback special.

[face=Times New Roman]J - Just When I Needed You Most

I believe this was written and originally performed by Randy VanWarmer, but subsequently covered by various artists including Dolly Parton, Conway Twitty, and the band Smokie.

L - Lazarus - Porcupine Tree

Lovely ballad from their Deadwing album. Definitely one of Porcupine Tree's best songs.
