Dennis Hopper

Actor Dennis Hopper recently got a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame:

Fellow actor friends Jack Nicholeson and Viggo Mortenson (LOTR) were on hand to celebrate the occassion.

Mr. Hopper has a long and distinguished acting career. He is currently battling prostate cancer.

I knew he was in the movie "Easy Rider" but didn't know that he also wrote the movie. Wow!!!

He was in the movie Mario bros. He was the koopa king or Bowser. Something like that --------->

He's had a very varied and successful career. He certainly deserved this recognition. He made have been in some bad movies (like Super Mario Bros.), but he always put a lot into this performances.

He does look very frail, though. I wouldn't have recognized him in those photographs.

Just wanted to mention here that actor Dennis Hopper has died today, May 29, 2010. He was 74. He was a great actor and I'm glad he was able to receive this honor mentioned above before he passed away. He will long be remembered for his colorful acting career and many other things. Condolences to his family.
