Tropical Storm Ophelia

Tropical Storm Ophelia may become a Hurricane later in the week. Watching this one also but last I heard it may not affect the States, but we shall see:

I heard on the news today that Ophelia is now a Hurricane. I think a cat 2. She is now headed toward Ireland. So that is good news for the USA! She won't trouble us any. Thoughts going toward Ireland and those countries that she will not be very bad when she reaches them.

No problem here but we can sense that this storm is not so far away from us and our coasts ! The sky is very dark BUT sorta yellow ! It's very strange...but beautiful !

And now Ophelia is hitting Ireland quite hard. And this is quite an unusual event.

Unfortunately it's likely to become a more common event as climate change proceeds and warmer waters head further north.

This strange sorta yellow sky was tied to Ophelia BUT not alone ! It was also tied to sand coming from Sahara AND fumes from the gigantic fires in Portugal (alas... )
