Phantasy Star: Fringes of Algo

My first Rudy Ashley (Chaz) pic.

I have not played PS IV yet, but when I had the challenge of drawing a PS character dressed up for Halloween, I had two choices: drawing young Yousis/Rolf, Huey/Hugh and Kainz/Kain, or drawing Rudy/Chaz.

I would have loved the first option, but I knew I would not have time to do it justice, so I went with the simpler choice. Even so, I thought I would not finish in time (before month's end). But I took some time free from my other pics and used a very simple coloring style, so here it is. :yes:

I hope you like it. This is Rudy at around 9-12. He stole those Puyo Puyo candies. :shiftyeyes:

I suddenly find myself wanting a rappy costume for this Halloween....

I really like the idea of drawing a young Chaz. His troublesome past is mentioned in the game a number of times, yet it doesn't really seem to be a popular topic for fanart, for some reason. I can't wait until you actually play the game so you can get more fun ideas!

Thanks, Myau. I will do my best. Some other pics are in development (some have been for quite some time, but some are new). Once I finish all the drawings needed for the theater play I am in, I will have more time to draw.

A4, you could actually create one, all I can do is draw them.

I do not know how much of a spoiler his past as a street child is, but I learned about his thieving days in forums like these (or maybe even this one).

He was taken by girl-who-dies-during-the-story (another spoiler for me) when he was 13, right? So this could be anytime before then. And with him being in the small side, even at 12 he could look like a 9 year old, I guess.

I would also like to draw some pics from PS III. I followed the stories of Ayn and Sean, so that path has the characters I would most likely draw.

Thanks, Surfer. I do have to wonder, though, are the Puyo Puyo candies worth wearing a giant yellow rappy costume? :mrgreen:

And thanks, Tanith. Yes, he is. Although I would say young Chaz is adorable, and youngER Chaz is even more so (that is, since he is only 16 during the game). :yes:
