We were talking about this new movie on another site I visit and they mentioned all the s*xual references in the movie, etc., which I found totally shocking considering this movie is rated PG-13 and it's basically something kids would be interesting in having originated from a cartoon show, etc. I guess it is just hard to get away from that kind of stuff, no matter what, in these days and times though. Still, it's sad.

Hasn't seemed to hurt the box office draw on this movie any though as I read today they took in about 200 mill over the weekend, or more:

And, remember all those reviews that basically said the movie would not do very good, well I'll bet someone is having the last laugh on that right now:

They have found a replacement for actress Megan Fox who quit the new "Transformers 3" movie:

Is she sticking her tongue out at someone in that pic?

What does everyone think of her?

Will she be a hit or is she the wrong pick to replace Fox?

First thought, she has three lips... >.>

Second thought, she won't be able to replace Megan Fox.

Third thought, this won't tie over with many fans.

Last thought, I'll give her a chance thought it should have been Megan Fox that resumed her role.

I know nothing about this woman, so I have no real opinion on the matter. I watch Transformers for the giant robots anyway. I'm not very interested in the human characters the film series has used so far.

Just read that actor Leonard Nimoy (Spock in "Star Trek") is coming out of his retirement to take a part in "Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon". He'll be the voice of one of the robots.

I'm kind of disappointed that he's not voicing Galvatron. Not that Galvatron fits in with the movie universe at this point. I just think that would be neat, since Nimoy did that voice in the animated movie.

From what I've read about this movie so far, it seems like the director has learned from some of the mistakes in the second one. I'm starting to become cautiously optimistic that this may be better than the second installment.

It appears that two of the Transformer Robots may not be back in the "Transformers 3" movie :

Seems to be lots of controversy surrounding these two characters which has helped lead to their possibly being canned from the new movie.

Any opinions on whether or not they should return??

Good riddance, I say. Even aside from the stereotyping issue, those characters were completely unnecessary in the second movie. Instead of creating two new characters, the crew should have pick two from the dozens of previously established Transformers that fans were eager to see. Doing that could have also prevented the whole stereotype issue. That article has Bay placing the blame for the stereotyping on the voice actors, but the voice actors wouldn't have designed the visual look of the characters. It's the combination of the two things that made people upset.
