Several earlier news reports were reading that Tom Petty, of the rock group Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers, had possibly died. Possible causes were listed as cardiac arrest, etc., however several reports are now saying that Petty is on life support. Prayers and best wishes to him for a full and speedy recovery.

Everywhere on the web, I can see that he died (alas) :( Is that true finally ? If it is...but I hope it isn't ! :)

Sad, but it seems that news reports today are now saying that Tom Petty has passed away. He was 66, and his musical legacy will live on forever.
