Thinking on getting PSU, thoughts?

Basically wondering if it is worth getting for the 360. Is it similar to any other games?

Phantasy Star 0 (Zero,) is the far better Phantasy Star game of that era.
And canon, to the PSO storyline!
I played and beat PSU, and the PSP games, OK, but just OK; very unmemorable.
Zero was far better, despite the irony in its name.

Yes, for sure, Phantasy Star Zero was great ! I haven't played much but maybe I'll try it again

I wonder if PSU would even still work now. Didn't it require logging into an online server, even for single player? Maybe I'm not remembering it correctly, though.

I played PSU completely off-line, back when I came out for the Xbox 360.

In fact I've never played PSO, online either, ironically. I'm not a big online game player myself, so I've played every game that allows it, strictly off-line mode.

It is not a bad game, but it is not PSO, which really set the bar.

Oh, and just to give some perspective or insight, I love it, absolutely loved, PS zero, far more than I enjoyed PSU.
And then the two PSP games, I did not enjoy it all, and those are a sort of continuation of the PSU universe.

So if you have not, I will go for PS zero before I would play PSU

Ah Phantasy Star Zero is back on track ! Great game as before ! Need to play it again anew one day

You can play PSU for free on PC, as there is a dedicated team running a private server.
