Superbowl 2011

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Tue Feb 1, '11, 8:19 pm

Football's most important game of the year...the Superbowl...happens this Sunday, I think it is. I haven't really been keeping up with football this year, but from what I hear, it will be the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Green Bay Packers! Wow, that's gonna be some football game!

Anyone here planning on watching the Superbowl this year?

Of course, sometimes the best part of the Superbowl is seeing all the new commercials that are usually shown during the game.

Here's a link with some info on some of the commercials being shown during the Superbowl:

I read somewhere that a trailer for the new Captain America movie is going to be shown during the game. That's all I really care about seeing from it this year, at least so far. It'll be around online soon after though, so I'm in no hurry.

I heard an interesting fact on the radio related to this year's Superbowl. It seems that both teams in this years game, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers, do not have any cheerleaders! They are the only two teams in the Football leagues that do not have any cheerleaders. I wonder how that will affect the game, (and viewing of the game) if anyway at all!

That makes me wonder what the half time show was like. With no girls prancing around in team colors, it would have been something unusual.

I don't really know how the game went as I didn't watch it, but I read online that it had a lot of viewers, etc.

I heard the Green Bay Packers won, so congrats to them.

If I had bet, I would have lost as I would have probably bet on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
