The worst video game box arts ever

I remember seeing that UN Squadron box in a store. It really was as unappealing as a cover could get. It makes me think the game is about watching people fly planes, rather than flying them.

Lol, these box arts are hilarious! Still, I couldn't imagine anyone actually buying any of these games because of the box art..

This is some crazy stuff.

I have one to add too, which is the Amiga box art of Super Street Fighter II Turbo. It appears that Akuma stopped half way through when evolving from a monkey into a person. Chun-Li's face and body proportions are also wrong on many levels and I could go on. Pretty sad cover artwork for a decent game if you ask me.

Very depressing, nuff said. And who the heck is that guy punching Terry off the platform?

Oh wow. I've never seen some of those before, but... just wow. That Pac-Man one is really out there. Maybe that's the origin of Pac-Man having arms and legs. Pro Wrestling is weird... does that guy have himself in a headlock?

Mario looks exceptionally buff on Donkey Kong, not at all like the pudgy plumber we've all come to know. He really let himself go later on.

The Street Fighter art is just bad all around. They really should have just reused the SNES or Genesis cover art.

Fatal Fury is not so bad, I think. Well, aside from the guys looking much older than the characters and fighting on a ferris wheel. It's trying to be a little too realistic, but it's actually has an impressive level of detail.
