Seahawks cheerleader doubles as Air Force first lieutenant

From the article: "Alicia Quaco, 25, is a first lieutenant in the Air Force. A graduate of the Air Force Academy, she had some work to do to convince her superiors that part-timing as a Sea Gal was a good use of her time."

Good for her. I wish her luck with both of her professions.

Hah, it's not that I'm choosing a side in the Super Bowl myau56. I just think it's very commendable, and I have much respect for her.

It is kind of cool when someone who has a job like that (as an entertainer or something of the sort) also has a job that's something highly commendable, such as being in the military. Props to her, for sure!

In a similar vain, the ex-guitarist of Insomnium, Ville Vanni, is also a general surgeon! He recently left the band on good terms due to both being a practicing surgeon/MD and also having a child, so he really couldn't juggle all that plus a growing band.

Don't misunderstand me ! I've never said that I don't have respect for her, not at all and very far from it. And yes it's very comendable like you have just said.

No worries myau, it's fine. My older brother graduated from the Naval Academy and was a lieutenant as well, so it's kind of a personal respect I have for her. My father really wanted me to go to the Air Force Academy when it was time to pick my school, I even went on a recruiting trip there thanks to their wrestling coach at the time (I wrestled for 16 years all the way through college). I ended up going to a local college and getting a wrestling scholarship, so I payed next to nothing for my college education, which was really nice. No student loans at all.

No problem and no worry, I know that there is no problem but maybe my commente was a bit out of the subject.
I understand ! My brother is in the "french navy" (if I can call it like this). Big respect from me too.
Getting a wrestling scholarship ? Great ! And cool too about no students loan at all !
For me it was history studies and now I'm a "home professor" (hard to find the real name in English ! :( )
