Post subject: The Next Star Wars movie

A new Star Wars movie is coming to theaters this summer: http://www.starwars.com/theclonewars/ne ... ement.html
It's going to focus on the Clone Wars, but unlike the previous movies, this one is entirely CGI instead of using real actors. It's also a lead into a new TV series in the fall.

What do you think, will you go see this one? I wonder how well the CGI approach will work for this.

Didn't they already do something like this before but was more anime focused. I think it played 10mins each day for a long time on cartoon network

Yeah, they did. That turned out to be about 2 two hour parts when they showed it all together. It was created by Cartoon Network's in house people. From the article above, I got the impression that this new version was overseen more directly by George Lucas, so it will probably be more "official" than that old thing.

I don't think I will go see it. I might watch it on Tv, but that's a big "might". I'm tuned out to Star Wars, I think. I really loved the first triology with Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, etc., but after that, they kinda lost me. :p
