There's lots to talk about on the smaller screen.

Forgot to post about the US Finale last week.

The winner of "The Masked Singer" for this season was The Sun, who turned out to be singer Leann Rhimes!

Also unmasked were "Popcorn" who turned out to be Taylor Dayne! Jellyfish was Chloe Kim. Sea Horse was Tori Kelley. Crocodile was Nick Carter (Backstreet Boy). Mushroom was Aloe Black.

Season 5 will begin next year.

The Masked Singer began again a few weeks ago but I have been too busy to watch it until this week. This week the Bull Dog was eleminated and it turned out to be the host of the show, Nick Cannon. Cannon has been absent since the show began this season due to the coronavirus and there has been a guest host. Cannon is back now and will resume his hosting duties coming this next week.

So far others who have been eleminated this season include:

(1)The Snail was revealed to be Kermit The Frog.
(2)The Phoenix was revealed to be Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce Jenner).
(3)The Raccoon was revealed to be Danny Trejo (actor).
(4)Grandpa Monster was revealed to be Logan Paul (boxer).

Updates on "The Masked Singer".

Two weeks ago Orca was eliminated and turned out to be Mark McGrath.

Last week both Seashell and Crab were eliminated. Crab turned out to be singer Bobby Brown and Seashell turned out to be Tamera Mowry-Housley, host on "The View" tv show.

This week and last night Robopine was eliminated and turned out to be actor Tyrese Gibson.

If this is not the right place to ask, please point me in the right direction and accept my apologies. For those fans of The Masked Singer, what is the appeal to you? I'm certainly one to appreciate the talent that others have out there, but I do not see what the draw is for the show. Is it simply to find out who is The Masked Singer, is it to see who can go all the way? I'm genuinely asking because I know many folks who talk about and watch the show and I'd like to know more about the attraction.

Speaking for myself, mostly it is the music that appeals to me. I love music. Almost all types of music and there is a wide range of music. You never know what will be sung and perfomed next. I like the dancing along with the singing.

I also like the mystery of finding out who the costumed performer will be when they are eliminated. The masked performers hail from a wide range of entertainment and other venues (sports, tv, movies, etc.) and are not known just for their singing. I also like seeing the cute/weird/wild/ costumes. Some of them are beautiful and some are just plain funny.

I also like the host (Nick Cannon) as he does a great job each week. I like the judges and am familiar with some of them (Jennifer McCarthy, Robin Thicke) and Ken Jeong is new to me but he is a very, very funny guy. I like hearing their predictions and finding out if they are right or wrong.

Bottom line, the show makes me feel good and I enjoy it. I can not say that about very many tv shows these days.
