The End of Pink Floyd

Postby MrKite » Tue Nov 18, '14, 10:28 pm

The legendary prog rock band has released their first new studio album in 20 years last week with The Endless River, which is made from numerous jam sessions held during the sessions for their previous studio album "The Division Bell". The album is dedicated to their keyboardist and founding member Richard Wright, who passed away in 2008. David Gilmour also made it clear that this album will close the book on the Pink Floyd saga once and for all. Although Nick Mason likes to think that that's not entirely true. Finally getting to listen to it. It sounds so beautiful. The only song on the album with vocals is "Louder Than Words", which is also the only single as far as I know.

I have not heard the album, but I'm somewhat interested. On the other hand, all great things must eventually end, and I sort of hope this really is it for the band. I also appreciate the dedication to Wright on this.
