Found an interesting article on actor Michael Caine who recently played the part of Alfred the Butler in the recent "Batman: The Dark Knight Rises" movie and prequels.
http://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/movie-tal ... 14793.htmlAlthough my misgivings when I first heard he was playing this role in the first movie, I must admit that he has done a superb job as Alfred The Butler. Alfred is a core part of the movie as far as I am concerned. Batman is who he is due to a very large part and influence by his trusty butler and friend, if you ask me.
Also, this makes me remember that I just recently came across a book written by Michael Caine that I bought at a dollar store of all places about a year ago and still have not read. The name of the book is "The Elephant To Hollywood" by Michael Caine. I think it is sort of a story of his life, etc. Interesting to note that he is actually Sir Michael Caine as he was knighted in 2000. And, he has also written another book called "What's It All About". Haven't come across that last book yet anywhere so I'll have to see if it is at my local library.
