Interesting to hear your comment Atlin as one who has already seen "The Dark Knight Rises". I hope the movie does well, even with the sad beginning that it has gotten.

From what I've heard so far the movie has done well at the box office.

I've found a few related links over the past few days but this is the first chance I've gotten to post them.

First, here are some links on actor Christian Bale (who plays Batman in "TDKR") as he visited some of the shooting victims in Colorado:

http://movies.msn.com/movies/article.aspx?news=745662

http://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/movie-tal ... 29641.html

Judging from reading many of the comments below these articles, it seems that Mr. Bale has gained a lot of new respect and admiration because of his trip to see these victims. Hopefully, this will carry on over to the movie as well.

Also here's a link with info about plans for the movie's release/premiers in foreign countries as well:
http://movies.msn.com/movies/article.as ... r-mov-news

Finally, and very important, an article on the subject of will Oscar voters look past this shooting incident when it comes time to consider this movie for potential Oscar nominations, etc.:

http://movies.msn.com/movies/article.as ... r-mov-news

Very interesting article above, especially the references to "The Lord Of The Rings" trilogy and "The Dark Knight Rises" trilogies. Since this is supposedly the last of "TDKR" this may be the last chance for Oscar wins.

Comments or Opinons??

Actor Christian Bale has made some news again as he helped make the wishes of a young cancer patient come true:

I think Kmart has the movie on sale for $9.99 this week. And just when I bought it last week for $16.99 as a Christmas present. I think I'm going to see if I can work out some way to return the old one. ;)

Yeah, no kidding. I did return it and get it for the lower price, but the same thing has happened again this week. Now it's $8.99 everywhere. I think I'll stick with the copy I've got now.
