Personally, I have mixed feelings about this movie. Maybe I just have the trilogy blues, but I'm looking forward to seeing a fresh take on the franchise after this movie ends. The trailers I've seen have not been very impressive. I hope the movie does quite well, but I'm ready for something different.

It'll be interesting to see how big of a role he gets in the film. The story you linked too seems to have been removed now, but I've read the gist of it elsewhere. He's almost always an entertaining actor and should provide a good method of tying the story of this movie into that of Batman Begins. A full circle type of thing. This is one part of the movie I'm definitely anticipating.

Sorry about that link above.

Anywho, I found another link with a bit of info on this story:

Sounds like he may only have a small role, but maybe that will change later on. I hope so. He's a terrific actor.

Thanks for the link SS! It seems they've addressed the complaints about Bane's voice, he was much easier to understand in this trailer than what I've heard before. I think I might've heard Bale's infamous growling voice at the end though. Why he can't try to speak in a natural but still intimidating voice (a la Kevin Conroy) is beyond me.

Anyway, this is looking to be an epic movie. July 20 can't come soon enough, but at least The Avengers and The Amazing Spiderman (which I have mixed feelings about) will hold me over.

A look at some new posters for "The Dark Knight Rises":

I sort of have mixed feelings regarding this movie. On one hand, I hate to see the triology end, but on the other hand, I prefer Batman not be as dark as he has been in this series. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the movie and wondering if this is the end, then how will it actually end??? Anyone have any thoughts on that??

I prefer not to speculate on how it will end, myself. With Bane in the movie, there's a chance that the story will go something like the comic storyline he is most famous for: breaking Batman's back. That seems like too much of a downer for the film to end on, though.

Well, you can forget Christian Bale's earlier remarks about being finished with "The Dark Knight", as it looks like he has changed his mind:

Hmmmm, I wonder if the huge success of "The Avengers" movie had anything to do with this? And, maybe perhaps possible thoughts of perhaps a Justice League movie, or something to that effect?
