New Saturn Ring

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Wed Oct 7, '09, 8:48 pm

A new giant ring has been discovered around the planet Saturn. This thing is huge...it would take 1 billion earths to fill it....wow:

I guess the fact that it is almost invisible may explain why it took so long for this ring to be discovered.

That's... wow, I can't even really imagine something the size of this ring. To think that it's big enough to hold a moon and to not even look like a ring if you're standing in it. Amazing. It makes me wonder if there are any other "super rings" in the solar system.

That's why I love the universe and love learning about it. There are just so many wonders out there...it just blows your mind how beautiful it is.

And you figure just how small you are in the grand scheme of things. Amazing... 8)
